Widgets: Weather Forecast

This fully configurable widget allows users to select layout style, choice of weather icon sets, show/not show date, clock location and define font styles.

1) Once you have added the widget to your Asset Library from the 'Store' icon on the Home page, open the layout and click on the Add Widget icon on the control panel.

2) Click on the properties icon to open the widget properties. 

Current Condition Image Height – Defines the height of the Current Condition logos.

Current Condition – Allows you to turn Current Condition on or off with Y (Yes) or N (No).

Current Conditions on top or on the same row as forecast - Allows you to define whether Current

Conditions should be on top or on the same row as forecast with Y (Yes) or N (No).

Current Conditions Style - This opens the Style library where you can select or create a new style.

Forecast Condition Image Height - Defines the height of the Current Condition logos.

Forecast Style - This opens the Style library where you can select or create a new style.

Icon Color – This allows you to change the color of the icons.

Language – Languages can be changed to Spanish or French from this dropdown.

Location (zip code or city, state name) – Enter a zip code, city or state name to pull weather data for that location.

Number of forecast days – This shows the forecast from 1-4 days out.

Orientation – Changes the orientation from Horizontal to Vertical to accommodate design needs.

Seconds to rotate Language – Defines the number of seconds between each language.

Show Location – The location can be shown or turned off from here.

Show Time – The current time can be shown or turned off from here.

Style of Location – This opens the Style library where you can select a style for the location.

Text for Currently - The default message is “Currently” for the current temperature. You can add your own text to this field.

Time Format - Specific time formats can be set by entering any of the following tokens from the key below.

Unit - Toggles between Fahrenheit to Celsius.
